Academic Focus

Anthropology, art history, European studies, history, Spanish language and literature, Spanish studies.

Sessions

Fall, spring, yearlong.

Venue

Headquartered in Oviedo, Spain. Scheduled travel to Barcelona, Toledo, Santiago de Compostela, La Coruña, Salamanca, Burgos, Santander; field trips to Oviedo museums, local pre-Romanesque and Celtic architectural sites, Covadonga, Gijón.

Living Arrangements

Students live in host family homes. Meals are taken with host family, in residences.

Requirements

Open to sophomores, juniors, seniors; 2 letters of recommendation; good academic standing at home school; official transcript; 1 year of college course work in Spanish.
