The Johns Hopkins Pre-College Summer Program invites academically talented
students ages 15 and older to stretch their minds, earn college credit, and
"test" Johns Hopkins as a possible college choice. Participants select up
to two college-level courses offered during one of two 5-week terms for
commuting students. Residential students, on campus during the second term,
also get a taste of supervised residence hall living. Some students explore
wide-ranging interests; others concentrate on specific academic disciplines.
Small classes taught by outstanding faculty members introduce participants
to the exhilarating Hopkins learning experience. Tours of renowned Hopkins
research and medical facilities, day trips to Washington, D.C., a campus
college fair, a talent show, dances, sports, music, and other activities
make the experience unforgettable.
