Choate Summer Programs — A Proud Tradition
"Summer programs have changed dramatically over the past ten to
fifteen years—at least those that seek to meet the needs that students
and families have from a summer-enrichment experience. Choate Summer
Programs has a strong and proud tradition of academic excellence, an
engaging residential life program, and varied social activities where
students have the chance to make new friends with students and teachers.
We've added exceptional programs for middle grades that incorporate
teaching methods applicable to that age level. We've added intensive
English language programs grounded in reading, writing, listening, and
speaking skills, revising our high school courses to provide the skills
needed for solid college preparation. Choate Summer Programs is student-centered.
We want each student to achieve, succeed, and gain confidence in his or her
abilities. We believe that each of our classes in structured settings,
dorm life, sports, and weekend activities are opportunities to learn,
reflect, make friends, and grow as a young person. We work year-round
to improve our programs and are committed to providing the best summer
experience for each student in each program."
