"Students ages 12–18 from around the United States and the world come to Cushing Academy for three or six weeks each summer—to learn, make new friends, and have fun. Personalized instruction with an excellent faculty is offered in six challenging academic programs: Prep for Success, College Prep, Studio Art, Critical Skills Across the Curriculum, English as a Second Language, and Service and Travel Experiences. Students also enjoy a variety of arts and athletic electives, such as silversmithing and video design. Beyond the classroom, Cushing provides wonderful trips throughout New England and memorable special events. Cushing is located 60 miles west of Boston in north-central Massachusetts."
