"We hope to set a young person to dreaming"
Oxford Media School is not for everybody, but it may be for
you. The School was created because I felt there were enough
creative, restless, ambitious young people who had already
enjoyed a lifetime of great holidays with friends and family.
Fortunate indeed. But this summer, with college years ahead,
you may be looking for something else.
Meet new friends and expand personal horizons at a
place called Oxford University—where you wake up to the bells
of "your" college, sleep in a room that is part of a college
tradition going back to the Middle Ages, race to make breakfast
in the Great Hall, and head for morning classes with a break
for chatter in the Quadrangle.
"You can choose film school, or perhaps you would like
to work in a television newsroom learning to anchor a broadcast,
write and shoot a news story, or make documentaries. All this
and London too . . . "
- Desmond Smith, Director of Studies, Oxford Media School
at New College
"When Will departed for England, we were confident that he
was in good hands. That confidence was borne out during his
stay . . . I am sure he will have fond memories for years to come . . . "
"My summer at Oxford Media School remains one of
the best experiences to date, and certainly my most fantastic
summer ever."
