"Secondary students can get a sneak preview of life as a college
student through summer residential programs. In College Experience,
academically talented and motivated high school students earn 6 hours
of credit through a regular SMU summer course and a special afternoon seminar.
On weekends, at least one group social event is planned. In addition,
the Talented and Gifted Program (TAG) offers intellectual challenges
and social activities to academically advanced students completing the
seventh, eighth, and ninth grades."
