"Northwestern's College Preparation Program is designed
to give college-bound high school juniors a head start in
their academic careers. Participants earn college credit taking
six- to eight-week Northwestern undergraduate courses and
sharpen their reading and writing skills in the noncredit
College Writing Tutorial. Students get an inside look at campus
life by living in dorms, enjoying the same privileges as other
members of the Northwestern community, including access to
computing and research facilities, libraries, and fitness
centers. Students must have a cumulative grade point average
of at least 3.5/4.0."
