Kent School Summer Writers Camp helps aspiring writers discover the crucial inner voice every writer needs. For three weeks, students entering grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 experience boarding school life in an idyllic setting among the Berkshire foothills in Northwestern Connecticut. With enrollment limited to 50, our dynamic teaching staff of 12 provides individualized attention and fosters a strong sense of community. Through daily writing practice, campers explore such forms as narrative, fiction, poetry, and memoir. Daily sports and recreation activities, on-campus spoken-word venues, a Visiting Artist Workshop Series, pool parties, and field trips round out the experience.
