Your class may be able to take either–or both–of the SAT exams, depending on the requirements of your target schools. We recommend that you:
- Start preparing for your test ASAP
- Take the new PSAT in the fall of 2004
- Take the old SAT in the fall of 2004
- Take the New SAT in the spring of 2005
- Want to try again? Retake the new SAT in the fall

Your class will only take the new SAT exam. Here’s how to get ready:
- Start studying for the new exam–the sooner the better
- Take the new PSAT in the fall of 2005
- Take the New SAT in the winter of 2005
- Not happy with your score? Retake the test in the spring
