Adelphi University
Adelphi is a private, coeducational university offering degrees in the liberal arts and the professions at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. Undergraduate student-faculty ratio is 13:1. Entrance difficulty level is competitive and is highly competitive for the Honors College. Merit and talent scholarships as well as need-based aid are available.

Adrian College
Adrian College offers more than 30 majors that are complemented by a liberal arts core. Academic and cocurricular opportunities develop students' fullest potential. Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University
AAMU is a dynamic and progressive multicultural institution with a strong commitment to academic excellence. Some 100 programs are offered through 6 schools. The School of Graduate Studies offers the MS, MBA, MSW, MEd, MURP, EdS, and PhD degrees. Serving approximately 5,500 students, the research institution ably meets the challenges launched by the nation's 2nd-largest research park in Huntsville, Alabama, and the world beyond. Albany State University
An aggressive $140-million rebuilding project was completed at Albany State University, and the beautiful new campus is nestled along the bank of the Flint River. All-new state-of-the-art facilities include new dormitories, classrooms and laboratories, a dining hall, an athletic complex, and an academic administrative building.

Albertus Magnus College
Celebrating 75 years of liberal arts education, Albertus Magnus College is well known for its psychology and business programs as well as 46 other fields of study. Albion College
Albion College (founded in 1835) is located in south-central Michigan and enrolls 1,600 students. It ranks 4th in the nation for the percentage of students involved in summer research. Outstanding internships are offered on every continent (except Antarctica). Albright College

Alfred University
Alfred University continues its plan that holds tuition costs steady for incoming freshmen at the 1996 rate. The University also continues to expand and improve its programs and facilities. Nine buildings have been renovated or constructed to enhance the academic, cultural, and social lives of students. Included are a new campus center, a performing arts building, and a renovated castle that houses the Career Development Center.

Allegheny College
The Allegheny College Center for Experiential Learning (ACCEL) is a vivid symbol of the College's commitment to preparing students for the working world and graduate and professional school. ACCEL gives students one-stop shopping for internships, off-campus study in the US and abroad, service learning opportunities, and leadership development programs.

Alvernia College
Alvernia College, a private Catholic college, blends traditional liberal arts with professional programs. Alvernia offers 27 bachelor's degree programs geared to meet the needs of students and the community. Programs include athletic training, sports management, and forensic science. A new 25,000-square-foot campus center and new residence hall opened in summer 1999.

American University

Anderson University

Arkansas State University
Arkansas State University is a premier institution of higher education in the mid-South. Art Institute of Southern California
AISC hosts an annual Open House/Portfolio Review to introduce prospective students and their families to the school. Ashland University
Ashland University provides a liberal arts and science curriculum that prepares students for various professions and careers with such distinctive programs as environmental science and toxicology. AU's philosophy of "Accent on the Individual" is evident both in and out of the classroom. Atlanta College of Art
The Atlanta College of Art is a thriving artistic community that offers the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in communication design (advertising design, graphic design, and illustration), drawing, electronic arts (computer animation, digital art, digital multimedia, and video), interior design, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.

Audrey Cohen College
Three times each year, Audrey Cohen College students create or enhance career opportunities in business management and human services through the only college curriculum designed to link learning to practice. Students earn credit for applying theoretical concepts mastered in the liberal arts, business, and professional studies to practical experience gained in professional work or internship settings. Students can complete a bachelor's degree in 2 years and 8 months or associate degree in 1 year and 4 months.

Augsburg College
Augsburg College, an urban liberal arts college, draws upon the cultural and corporate resources of Minneapolis to complement the campus and classroom learning experience. A college of diversity, it serves people of all colors and nationalities and of many religions. Affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Augsburg is a college of intellectual challenge, academic excellence, and career preparation.

Augustana College
Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Desmond Tutu, former First Lady Barbara Bush, former British Prime Minister John Major, former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, former President George Bush, and retired General Colin Powell have graced the Augustana campus since 1995 as speakers in the College's Center for Western Studies' distinguished Boe Forum on Public Affairs. The lecture, always a complete "sell-out," is free to Augustana students and to the public.

Aurora University
Aurora University combines the resources of commuting students with a residence hall population that includes students from 20 states and 5 countries. Curriculum has a strong emphasis on human services supplemented by the John and Judy Dunham School of Business and University College of Arts and Sciences. The YMCA Senior Director Certificate Program is a supplemental major offered in cooperation with the YMCA of the USA.

Azusa Pacific University
At Azusa Pacific, a Christian liberal arts university, students are challenged academically, participate in dynamic leadership experiences, and utilize the latest technology, gaining the skills needed to reach their goals. Located 26 miles northeast of Los Angeles, APU offers 34 undergraduate majors, 19 master's programs, 3 doctoral programs, and extensive credential and certificate programs.

Ball State University
Ball State University is a comprehensive public institution composed of 7 curricular colleges: Applied Sciences and Technology; Architecture and Planning; Business; Communication, Information, and Media; Fine Arts; Sciences and Humanities; and Teachers College. The enrollment of 17,930 includes 15,890 undergraduates. Ball State is located northeast of Indianapolis in Muncie, Indiana.

Barclay College
Barclay College is a coed, 4-year, interdenominational, accredited college located in Haviland, Kansas, and was founded in 1917 by the Evangelical Friends. Barclay offers bachelor's degrees in bible/theology, business administration, church music, Christian school elementary education, pastorial ministries, psychology/family counseling, and youth ministries, along with associate degrees. Barry University
Barry University is an independent, coeducational Catholic university that fosters academic distinction in the liberal arts and professional studies. Global University of the Assemblies of God

Bridgewater College

Caldwell College
Plans are underway during 2000-01 to open a 47,300-square-foot Student Activities and Recreation Building to meet the social needs of a growing student population. Despite its growth, the College still maintains its liberal arts character by providing students will close, personal attention while enhancing technological facilities on campus.

California College of Arts and Crafts
CCAC is the only regionally accredited school of art, architecture, and design on the West Coast, distinguished by the interdisciplinary nature and breadth of its programs in fine art, design, and architecture taught by a faculty of active professionals. Current initiatives include expansion of architecture and design programs in a new San Francisco facility, and new graduate programs in design, visual studies, and writing.

California Institute of Technology
Academics--with a focus on math, science, and engineering--in a research environment characterize Caltech. The core curriculum emphasizes the fundamentals of each of the sciences plus study in the humanities and social sciences. Caltech values and encourages study and research across disciplines. California Lutheran University
A small, private college with 2,700 students, California Lutheran University is known for its supportive and challenging academic environment and for it's outstanding graduate placement. Campbell University
Campbell's ROTC program is currently rated as the best in America. The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law has received the Gumpert Award for excellence in the teaching of trial advocacy. The BBA in professional golf management, offered by the School of Business, is PGA-certified and has gained national attention. Graduate programs include the MS in clinical research, the PharmD in the School of Pharmacy, the MEd and MA in the School of Education, the MBA in the School of Business, and the MDiv and MA in the School of Divinity. Education has a nearly 99 percent passage rate on licensure exams.

Canadian Bible College
Canadian Bible College is the only denominational college of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada. Case Western Reserve University

Castleton State College

Cazenovia College
In 1999, Cazenovia College introduced new baccalaureate programs in early childhood education and program administration, social science, and English and a specialization in accounting.

Cedar Crest College

Centenary College

The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina

Hilbert College's pioneering Economic Crime Investigation degree is one of the few baccalaureate programs in the country that offers students career education in the fields of computer investigation and forensic accounting.
