If you\u2019re pursuing a degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)-related program, there are many scholarships designed just for you. Here are twelve scholarships we\u2019ve selected to help you fund your STEM degree:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. $2,000 PixelPlex Bi-Annual STEM Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This scholarship was established to help support students pursuing education in STEM, as well as economics and business. In order to apply for this bi-annual scholarship program, students must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident; enrolled (or accepted with plans to attend) in a college or university in the U.S.; field of study must be related to STEM, economics, or business. Deadlines to apply: June 5 and December 5 (bi-annually).<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount Awarded: $2,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. UNCF STEM Scholars Program<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This tiered tuition scholarship is applicable for talented African-American high school students who aspire to earn STEM degrees and pursue careers in STEM fields. Amounts awarded are up to $2,500 per academic year for freshmen and sophomores, $5,000 for juniors and seniors, and an additional $5,000 for students whose academic programs require a fifth year. All applicants must have a demonstrated unmet financial need to be considered.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. BHW Women in STEM Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>The Women In STEM Scholarship is available to women who are pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree and are majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics during the 2021 school year. Applications open in January and are due each April 15th. The winner will be announced on May 15th. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $3,000 <\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. $1,500 STEM Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>Students aged 16-22 years old (at the time of entry) who are interested in pursuing a STEM major are qualified to apply. Entrants must be a registered user of <\/span>    NextStepU.com<\/span><\/a> to be eligible. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $1,500<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Procter & Gamble STEM Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>Undergraduate students attending an accredited four-year college or university within the United States are eligible to receive up to $5,000. This scholarship focuses on providing financial assistance to ensure students have access to quality education toward a successful career in the STEM industry.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: Up to $5,000<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. LabRoots STEM Scholarship<\/a>
    \n<\/span>LabRoots wishes to encourage all students to stay in science and aims to help students work towards their research and educational goals. Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for a graduate or undergraduate degree for the next academic year at a recognized university, either in or outside the U.S. This program welcomes applications from students seeking support to cover expenses associated with their academic pursuits in a STEM field.
    \nAmount awarded: $1,000-$3,000<\/li>\n
  7. STEM Teachers for America’s Future Scholarship<\/a>
    \nThe AFCEA Educational Foundation will offer scholarships of $2,500 to students actively pursuing a graduate degree or credential\/licensure for the purpose of teaching STEM subjects at a U.S. K-12 school.
    \nAmount awarded: $2,500 – $7,500<\/li>\n
  8. Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship Program<\/a>
    \n<\/span>The Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship program provides opportunities to students who want to build their talents and change the world. Lockheed Martin will award up to 200 renewable scholarships of $10,000 each. Awards are open to individuals studying eligible engineering or computer science majors, who demonstrate financial need and come from underrepresented or underserved communities. Applicants must also be open to outreach from Lockheed Martin recruitment teams regarding possible internship opportunities.

  9. Women Forward in Technology Scholarship Program<\/a><\/span>
    \nThe Woman Forward in Technology scholarship is designed to empower women entering the STEM field, which currently only represents 24% women in the career workforce. Their mission is to help women pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in STEM programs achieve their education goals, which helps improve the diversity in STEM careers at large. Women, both U.S. citizens and non-citizens, who are attending a U.S. accredited university are encouraged to apply for a number of $3,000 scholarships.
    \nAmount awarded: $3,000<\/li>\n
  10. Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association Ralph W. Shrader Diversity Scholarships<\/a><\/span>
    \nFull-time graduate students (women and minorities) currently working toward a master’s degree in STEM majors at an accredited college or university in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, study full-time, be a U.S. citizen, and have hearing, learning, physical, or visual disabilities.
    \nAmount awarded: $3,000<\/li>\n
  11. Employment BOOST College Scholarships<\/a><\/span>
    \nEmployment BOOST is offering two quarterly $1,000 scholarships for graduating high school or current college students. One scholarship is open to students studying any major and is also eligible for students who are currently undecided in their course of study. The second scholarship is available to students who will major or are majoring in business or STEM. Students who apply must have a minimum 3.6 GPA.

  12. Gilman Scholarship<\/a>
    \n<\/span>The Gilman Scholarship Program broadens the student population that studies and interns abroad by supporting undergraduates who might not otherwise participate due to financial constraints. The program aims to encourage students to study and intern in a diverse array of countries and world regions. Veterans of military service are encouraged to apply, and preference is given to veterans when other factors are equivalent. The program has been successful in supporting students who have been historically underrepresented in education abroad, including first-generation college students, students in STEM fields, ethnic minority students, students with disabilities, students attending HBCUs or other minority-serving institutions, students attending community colleges, and students coming from U.S. states with less study abroad participation.
