Many students pursue a degree in engineering due to its hands-on approach, high earnings potential, and positive job outlook, making it an attractive career option. There are more than 25 different specialties within the field of engineering, including civil, electrical, industrial, aerospace, software, biomedical, and many more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Women in Leadership Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>Valuing equality in the workplace, a $5,000 Women in Leadership scholarship will be awarded to support female students who are interested in pursuing a career in the environmental profession. Applicants must be a graduate student or a postgraduate student studying engineering.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $5,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Optical Design and Engineering Scholarship<\/a>
    \nThis scholarship is awarded to a full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate student attending a four-year college or university, two-year college, or a vocational-tech school in the field of optical design and engineering.
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $2,000+<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Arsham Amirikian Engineering Scholarship<\/a>
    \nThis award will be given to an undergraduate pursuing a minimum four-year degree in civil engineering or a welding-related program at an accredited university. Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be a U.S. citizen.
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $2,500<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Marjorie Roy Rothermel Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>The scholarship allocates up to two $3,000 awards for a student working toward a master’s degree in engineering. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, and be enrolled in a full-time engineering\/technology or mechanical engineering program at a university or four-year college.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $3,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. The MTS Student Scholarship for Two-Year, Technical, Engineering and Community College Students<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This $3,000 scholarship is open to MTS members enrolled in a two-year, technical, engineering, or community college in a marine-related field. Applicants must be an undergraduate student.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $3,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Graduate Scholarships<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>Applicants must be either a college senior enrolled in an ABET or ACCE-accredited construction or civil engineering program, or a person possessing an undergraduate construction or civil engineering degree from an accredited program. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $3,250<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO) Senior Undergraduate Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>Scholarships will be awarded for the 2020\/2021 school year and have ranged from $5,000 to $10,000. Successful recipients must be a U.S. citizen and enrolled full-time at the senior level (during the 2020\/2021 school year) in an accredited civil engineering program, or in a related field, and must demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in hydraulics, hydrology or geotechnical disciplines, or in another discipline related to the design, construction and operation of dams. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $5,000-$10,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. UPS Scholarship for Minority Students<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This scholarship is available to undergraduate students enrolled in any school in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico, provided the school\u2019s industrial engineering program or equivalent is accredited by an agency or organization recognized by IISE, and the student is pursuing a course of study in industrial engineering. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $4,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Jules Cohen Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>AFCCE\/IEEE-BTS scholarships provide financial assistance to students who are undertaking a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in engineering or science and demonstrate an interest in careers in telecommunications consulting or broadcast engineering. AFCCE scholarships range between $500 to $2,500 per semester, and the IEEE-BTS scholarships award between $5,000 – $10,000. A single application to the AFCCE will automatically enter students for consideration for all scholarships for which you are eligible during each semester. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $500 – $10,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. George A. Roberts Scholarships<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>Applicants must be full-time college juniors or seniors studying metallurgy or materials engineering in North America. Awards are based on need, interest in field, academics, and character.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $6,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. AIST Foundation Steel Intern Scholarship – Smith Graduate (AIME)<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This scholarship is for graduate students who are citizens of the U.S., Canada, or Mexico who are enrolled full-time in engineering: metallurgy, materials science, chemical, mechanical, electrical, environmental, computer science, and industrial engineering. Students must commit to a paid summer internship at a North American steel producing or steel-related company during the summer preceding funding. Students must have a strong interest in a career in the steel industry as demonstrated by an internship or related experience, or who have plans to pursue such experiences. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $6,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  12. Davidson Fellows Scholarship Program<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>A one-time award will be given to recognize the outstanding achievements of those aged 18 years old or younger. Applicants must have completed a significant piece of work in one of the following areas: science, technology, engineering, mathematics, humanities, or outside the box. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $10,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  13. Stokes Educational Scholarship Program<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This program is a tremendous opportunity to gain valuable experience in your field while attending college and earning a degree. The Stokes program is open to high school seniors, particularly minority students, planning to major in computer science or computer\/electrical engineering.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $15,000<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
