From fine arts such as drawing, painting, and sculpture to art history, to film and photography, art majors have several areas of study in which to specialize. Art majors project their creative spirit in their work, and can take a variety of paths to reach their degree. <\/span><\/p>\n

  1. CBC Spouses Visual Arts Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This award is available for undergrad or grad students with majors in the visual arts, including architecture, ceramics, drawing, fashion, graphic design, illustration, interior design, painting, photography, sketching, video production, and other decorative arts. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $3,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Coating and Graphic Arts Division Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>Up to four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate students majoring in scientific or technical disciplines related to the manufacture and\/or graphic arts use of coated paper and paperboard. Applicants must attend a four-year college.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $1,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Ralph J. Torraco Fine Arts Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>The UNICO Foundation will grant two $2,500 scholarships to full-time students currently attending an accredited U.S. college\/university program, pursuing a fine arts degree.
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $2,500<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. SEIU Moe Foner Scholarship Program for Visual and Performing Arts<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This award is available for undergraduate students pursuing a degree or training full-time in the visual or performing arts. Scholarship funding must be applied to tuition at a two- or four-year college, university, or an accredited community college, technical or trade school in an arts-related field.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $5,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Polly Holliday Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This scholarship is awarded each year to a qualified high school senior planning to major in theatre arts at an accredited college or university within the following states:\u00a0 Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia. Applicant criteria is based on financial need, talent, and the potential for academic success in college. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $1,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Tombow’s Create Your Best Work Art Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>We know that it takes the best products to create your best work<\/span>\u2014<\/span>and we want to help equip young artists with the tools to flourish in their industry. The \u201cCreate Your Best Work Art Scholarship\u201d is available to high school seniors and college freshman and sophomore students.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $2,500<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Trustees’ Linda Giannecchini Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>The Trustees Scholarship was established to recognize standout graduating high school seniors who intend to pursue a career in any aspect of the television industry, such as communications, filmmaking\/video, journalism, music, performing arts, photojournalism\/photography, or TV\/radio broadcasting.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $10,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Moss Endowed Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>The Moss Endowed Scholarship is a $1,000 financial award given annually to one high school senior with a verified financial need, a verified language-related learning difference, visual arts talent, acceptance to an accredited 4-year college or university, and the intent to pursue a career in the visual arts field. Art classes must be taken each semester to continue the award renewal. <\/span>
