Criminal justice is a broad field that encompasses law enforcement, forensics, corrections, border patrol, probation, and much more. Those pursuing a career in criminal justice will need to earn an undergraduate and\/or graduate degree, or certifications. To offset the cost, here are eight scholarships to help fund your degree:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. WIFLE Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This scholarship was designed to encourage women to pursue a career in federal law enforcement. Applicants must be enrolled in, or be transferring to, a four-year program in criminal justice\/criminology, social sciences, law\/legal services, or law enforcement\/police administration. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to the community through volunteer community service or an internship in a law enforcement agency. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $2,500<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. My Alarm Center’s Scholarship Program<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>If you are currently studying law enforcement, law, criminal justice, or a related field, you are eligible to submit a security-focused essay for a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship to put toward your college tuition. Applicants must be an undergraduate student attending a university or a four-year college.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $1,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Murray Rossen Criminal Justice Scholarship Challenge<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student inspired to enter the criminal justice field, whether through the practice of law, paralegal studies, law enforcement, corrections, forensics, etc. Applicants must create a video telling us how they plan to use their education and skills to rock the criminal justice world. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $1,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>Applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student, currently enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university (or equivalent) with a declared major or minor in accounting or criminal justice.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $1,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Newell S. Rand Jr. Memorial Scholarships<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This award will be given to a student pursuing a degree in one of the following areas of study: conservation law enforcement; criminal justice\/police science; natural resource management; park management or administration. Application requirements include: three letters of recommendation, a one-page essay explaining why this scholarship is desired, and a summary of school and community service activities that exhibit the applicant\u2019s leadership and character. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $1,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Law Enforcement Family Member Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at an accredited university. The student must have a family member (such as a parent, spouse or sibling) who is or was an active duty member of law enforcement. <\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $1,000<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Kush Arora Federal Criminal Justice Reform Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This scholarship will award $500 to a deserving undergraduate or graduate student who has demonstrated a thoughtful, well-reasoned view of whether certain laws and criminal justice policies are just or unjust. Applicants must attend a university, a four-year college or two-year college.<\/span>
    \n<\/span>Amount awarded: $500<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Harold Johnson Law Enforcement Scholarship<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/a>This award provides financial support to students who plan to pursue a career in police work, corrections, or other criminal justice fields. The scholarship is designed to recognize students who demonstrate a passion for public service and academic potential, leadership, and financial need. <\/span>
