To get a handle on things, we talked to Louise Williams, owner and consultant at <a href=\"http:\/\/gatewaystocollege.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gateways to College, LLC<\/a>. Williams offered several tips for maintaining a balance between being holding your child accountable and nagging or straining your relationship. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is easier said than done, but knowing what to do and what not to do can help you help avoid arguments and instead help your child.
