Aerospace Engineering Sciences
The National Research Council and US News and World Report; rank the Aerospace Engineering Sciences (AES) program at CU Boulder among the top 10 in the country. Internationally recognized for its distinguished faculty, research, and education leadership, the program spends more than $15 million each year on research in aerospace engineering, earth, and space sciences. The Master of Science (MS) in Aerospace Engineering Sciences degree program prepares graduates to meet 21st century aerospace challenges through the understanding, conception, design, and application of aerial and spacecraft systems. Producing engineers capable of identifying, preventing, and solving building, construction and environmental problems is the department's objective. Campus facilities, including a National Science Foundation-funded earthquake simulator, permit a case-study approach, which exposes students to real-world problems and allows experimentation, testing and analysis. Computational Linguistics, Analytics and Search Informatics
The CLASIC program provides a solid foundation in both Computer Science and Linguistics graduate coursework, as well as several courses focused on data-driven linguistics, computational linguistics, and information processing. Students will complete the two-year degree with a capstone project that will run in conjunction with an internship or CU-based research project. As part of the capstone, students will be evaluated by their employer or industry project manager. Students will also prepare a technical report on the completed project that the program directors and project leader will jointly evaluate.
