MSN in Nursing

Simmons offers its highly regarded nursing programs to Registered Nurses (RNs) across the country through an innovative and flexible online format known as Nursing@Simmons.

Nursing@Simmons features an academically rigorous curriculum that prepares students to become recognized as clinical experts, scholars, and leaders in their field. The program blends weekly, face-to-face online classes with self-paced coursework, intimate social connections with peers and faculty, and hands-on clinical experiences.

Nursing@Simmons offers an online degree program for nurses at various stages of their careers:

- RN to MSN-FNP: This Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner program enables RNs who do not hold a bachelor's degree to earn their graduate nursing degree. The rigorous curriculum focuses on developing the primary care and leadership skills RNs need to pursue a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

- MSN-FNP: Featuring the same curriculum and faculty that have helped 100% of Simmons' graduates pass the Family Nurse Practitioner certification exam on their first attempt, this Master of Science in Nursing program prepares RNs with the skills they need to work autonomously treating patients and families in a primary care role.
