1 For 2 Education Foundation Scholarship

Description

For the 2021 ÔÇô 2022 academic year, the Foundation intends to award between two and ten merit-based scholarships. The size of each grant is determined on the basis of tuition remaining after consideration of all other forms of tuition assistance obtained by the scholar. Applicants must adhere to the pledge as posted in the scholarship site. The Foundation is seeking highly motivated applicants who reside in the U.S. and are applying to attend or are already attending an accredited U.S. four-year college and university. Scholarship grants are contingent upon acceptance to the U.S. four-year college or university specified in the grant letter, as well as signed scholarship grant letter and pledge to the Foundation. Application closes after 500 complete applications are received or on February 15, 2021, whichever occurs first. If you believe your GPA is on track for at least 3.7 unweighted or 4.0 weighted but for pass/fail grading implemented by your school due to the COVID pandemic, you are encouraged to still apply. You are welcome to submit a letter of recommendation from one of your teachers who can speak to your overall grade performance. Applicant must be living in the United States but is not required to be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. If selected for an interview, requests for letters of recommendation will be sent by the Foundation to the two persons identified by the applicant in their application. While receiving a scholarship from the Foundation, scholars are required to attend the FoundationÔÇÖs annual Gathering. During this time, scholars will have a chance to meet other scholars, alumni, and directors. They will also participate in personal development and learning sessions aimed at preparing them to achieve their academic, career, and life goals. The 2021 Gathering will be held July 29 ÔÇô August 2, 2021, in Michigan (this might change to an on line event given the COVID pandemic). All reasonable costs to attend the annual gathering are covered by the Foundation. Each semester scholars need to provide proof of full-time student status and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher. Applicant should present their acceptance letter. Going merry is handling 1 for 2 Education Foundation's scholarship.
