Description

The ASCPA Educational Foundation scholarships each year to support students in each accredited accounting program throughout Alabama. The candidate should be a member of the ASCPA, membership can be done through the scholarship site. Have declared a major in accounting, have completed Financial/Intermediate Accounting I and II courses before the 2021 fall semester, have a "B" average in all accounting courses (3.0 on a 4.0 scale), have a "B" average overall (3.0 on a 4.0 scale), have at least one full year left in school (fourth or fifth year), be enrolled with 6 hours per semester/12 hours per year minimum, be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident (green card), have a strong interest in a career in Alabama public accounting, plan to pursue CPA licensure, but not presently be a CPA.
