Anchor Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to eligible family members (children and spouses) of active duty, retired, and honorably discharged Surface Navy personnel. Eligible dependents are described as follows: For a child dependent - (2) High school senior or current college student planning to, or currently pursuing full time, his/her first associates, BA or BS at a 2-or 4-year college or university or industry certification in the United States; (2) Up to the age of 22 on March 1st of the year the scholarship is being awarded. For a spouse dependent - (2) High school graduate, associates, BA or BS or graduate degree, current college student planning to or currently pursuing his/her first associates, BA or BS, or graduate degree at a 2-or 4-year college or university, full or part-time. Awards are divided into two categories: Foundation Scholarships and ShipÔÇÖs Company Scholarships. Depending on the scholarship category, some of the following documents will be expected to be attached to the application package: Proof of Relationship to Sponsor; Qualifying Commands; Supporting Documentation for qualifying assignments, DD 214 ÔÇô Member Copy 4; Qualifying Commands Form.
