The Anne Maureen Whitney Barrow Memorial Scholarship, awarded to women in engineering or engineering technology, was established in by her husband to honor her memory following her tragic death in a plane crash. The scholarship is awarded to an entering freshman in engineering or engineering technology. It is renewable for three additional years and, consequently, is awarded only once every four years.
