The Hereditary Disease Foundation Research Grants provide more experienced researchers with the seed funding to enable them to collect the preliminary data needed to obtain major, long-term funding from other organizations, including the National Institutes of Health. Only the most meritorious applicants with proven track records in their respective fields are awarded funding. The Hereditary Disease Foundation gives highest priority to providing funding to investigators enthusiastic about launching a career in Huntington's disease research. These include postdoctoral fellows, instructors and new assistant professors. The submission of the Letter of Intent is from December 15, 2022 to February 1, 2023; but the application deadline is April 17, 2023. Please visit the award's website for more information.
