The Bay Area Minority Law Student Scholarship was established to end affirmative action and race-based admissions at UC schools. Schools participating in the scholarship program are University of California, Berkeley School of Law; Golden Gate University School of Law; Stanford Law School; University of California, Hastings College of the Law; Santa Clara University School of Law; and University of San Francisco School of Law. Scholarship funds will be disbursed only upon proof of enrollment and good standing in each semester, and any other scholarship requirement that the Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) of The Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) deems appropriate. For multi-year scholarships, proof of enrollment and good standing for each semester of the scholarship term will be required as well as proof of financial need, among other scholarship requirements JDC and BASF deem appropriate.
