Cherokee Nation Higher Education Scholarships

Description

Students must be working towards an Associates in Arts or Science, Associates of Applied Science in Nursing ONLY, Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degrees. Students may receive assistance with one Associates Degree, one BachelorÔÇÖs Degree, one MasterÔÇÖs Degree, and one Doctorate Degree. If deadline falls on Saturday or Sunday, the application will be available until 11:59pm CST the next business day (Monday). There are 3 programs under the Higher Education, namely: Undergraduate, Graduate, and Stole Program. The start of application for graduate and undergraduate for School year 2021-22 will be on March 1, 2021 while the start for the Stole Program is on the Spring 2021 commencement. The deadline for the stole program is April 30, 2021, available for mailing. Applications will be accepted during these enrollment periods: due by 11:59 pm Central Time. For the Graduate Scholarship Program, Recipients cumulative GPA must remain in good standing with the college/university and fulfill community service requirements. Students must also complete and pass a minimum number of credit hours per semester in order to remain eligible for the scholarship. Online classes are eligible. New students for the graduate scholarship program requires letter of acceptance to graduate school. Recipients for the undergraduate scholarship program must maintain a 2.0 GPA and fulfill community service requirements.
