Sharpen your reporting skills next summer telling the stories of young entrepreneurs and makers, small businesses and big corporations, workers and labor unions, tech startups, major advertisers and corporate sponsors, stocks and bonds, real estate and so much more. Business journalists have a broad beat that covers the gamut. To apply to the DJNF college internship program, students must complete an online application, attach supporting documentation and take a timed, online test. The application deadline for summer 2023 internships is Nov. 14; the test deadline is Nov. 18. Applicants must attach 3-5 clips of stories they wrote or links to digital content they produced. For data journalism, they may attach code they have written or a data visualization they created; editors can provide headlines, page designs or social media posts. Please note students must combine their work samples into one PDF or Word document.
