Description

Scholarship may be received for a maximum of 4 years. Additional document: Submit a letter from a physician documenting one or more of the following criteria: (a) residual acuity of 20/70 or less in the better eye with correction or (b) visual field restricted to 20 degrees or less in the better eye. Do not submit just your eyeglass/contacts prescription without a letter from your eye doctor explaining if you meet one of the two criteria (a or b). Applicant should file their FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1. Doing so will ensure they are considered for all scholarships that consider financial need. February 15 is the early bird deadline. Complete applications (including transcripts) submitted by this date will be entered into a drawing for one of several $1,000 Early Bird scholarship awards. If this falls on a weekend or holiday, it will automatically be extended to 5:00 p.m. (PST) of the following business day.
