Description

The Hawaii Education Association Continuing College Student Scholarships are awarded to college students pursuing a career in education in any state or nationally accredited institution of higher learning in the 2023-2024 academic year. Preference will be given to those in preK-12 teaching. This scholarship is open only to HEA members, their children and/or their grandchildren. Members must be in good standing and shall have been members for at least one year. Employees, officers and directors of HEA, and their immediate family members and individuals living in the same household (whether related or not) of such employee, officer or director are not eligible to apply. A recommendation from a person familiar with the applicant's academic goals and performance is required. This letter must be submitted separately. Applications may also be submitted via mail or email.
