Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago Academic Scholarship Program

Description

This scholarship is for Jewish college and graduate students to offset some of their financial burden. Students must be pursuing careers in the helping professions. Applicants must be born and raised in the Chicago metropolitan area, including Lake County, Indiana; or had one continuous year of full-time employment in the Chicago metro area prior to enrollment. The Chicago metropolitan area includes Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties. They must intend to remain in or return to the Chicago metropolitan area after completing school. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information about the eligible programs accepted for study using this scholarship. Two professional and/or academic Letter of Reference Forms with accompanying recommendation letters are required. Students under the age of 26 and/or married students must submit their parents' and/or spouse's/partner's IRS Forms filed for 2021 and for 2022.
