World Trade Center Memorial Scholarship

Description

The World Trade Center Memorial Scholarship aims to support children, spouses, and financial dependents of innocent victims who died or were severely and permanently disabled as a result of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States of America - at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and on airline flights 11, 77, 93, and 175 - and the resulting rescue and recovery efforts. Applicants should either be survivors with severe and permanent disabilities from the attacks or related rescue efforts, or be children, spouses, or financial dependents of deceased or severely disabled victims. Students must have graduated from high school in the United States, study at an approved New York State postsecondary institution, be in an approved program, and take 12 or more credits per semester. Students must maintain good academic standing, must not have student loan defaults, and must follow state award conditions. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
