Description

The goal: more minority Ph.D. students who seek careers as faculty on college campuses. Eligibility requirements: (1) A U.S. citizen or have legal permanent resident status. (2) Not employed outside of your department or discipline. (3) Planning to become a full-time college or university faculty member after earning a Ph.D. Visit scholarship webpage to take the eligibility quiz for full details. If applicants are aiming for the one-year Dissertation Award, they must submit a verification from the department chairperson of successfully passing the preliminary/comprehensive exams and successful defense of the dissertation prospectus before the start of the academic year.
