Friends of Bill Rutherford Education Fund

Description

For children of individuals serving in the Oregon State Legislature or holding statewide elected office (Governor, Treasurer, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Commissioner of Labor, or Superintendent of Public Instruction); this does not include judicial positions, high school graduates (including GED recipients and home-schooled graduates). Colleges: Public and nonprofit only and FAFSA is required, financial need may or may not be considered. Applicant should file their FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1. February 15 is the early bird deadline. Complete applications (including transcripts) submitted by this date will be entered into a drawing for one of several $1,000 Early Bird scholarship awards. If this falls on a weekend or holiday, it will automatically be extended to 5:00 p.m. (PST) of the following business day.

Eligibility Requirements
