Project activities may include research and/or teaching a course at the university level or delivering seminars/workshops. The Distinguished Scholar may also participate in consulting, developing training curricula and materials, and assisting with assessments and evaluations. The scholar will conduct additional outreach with industry and government and hold at least one talk that is open to the public. Projects must focus on topics in cybersecurity and critical infrastructure related to any of these areas: (1) pure and applied research; (2) research coordination; (3) transitioning research into practice; (4) workforce, curriculum, and capacity development; (5) enterprise risk management; and (6) law, policy, and international relations. Participating institutions are University of Iceland, Reykjavik University, and University of Akureyri. A letter of invitation from the university is preferred. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or other terminal degree. Applicants must submit a Project Statement, a CV or Resume, and two Letters of Recommendation.
