Houblon-Norman Fellowship

Description

The Houblon-Norman Fellowship was established in 1944 to celebrate Bank of England's 250th anniversary. It is named after the first Governor of the Bank, Sir John Houblon, and the Governor at the time of the anniversary, Montagu Norman. Fellowships are made available for post graduate research in economics and finance. Funds are provided in UK Pounds. Senior Fellowships will be open to all nationalities. For ordinary fellowships, however, preference will be shown to British and other EU nationals. Fellows will be provided with office accommodation at the Bank of England.
