J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust

Description

J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarships are based on financial need and are offered up to 5 years primarily to undergraduate students. For those considering graduate school, it is required that the applicant was a Platt Scholar as an undergraduate for at least two years to receive benefits as a graduate student. Applicant must provide a letter of recommendation from his/her clubÔÇÖs caddie master/manager, attesting to his/her skills as a caddie (one-page maximum). The caddie master must also verify the applicantÔÇÖs rounds caddied for at least the past two seasons. Usually, at least 20 rounds caddied annually were required to be considered as a Platt Scholar. However, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the only required is 15 rounds. Kindly visit the sponsorÔÇÖs website for more information.
