Description

The State of Illinois provides an education scholarship for the dependents of veterans who are either Missing In Action, a Prisoner of War, died while on active duty, 100% disabled due to service connected disabilities or died as a result of a service connected disabilities.

Eligibility Requirements

  • CheckmarkRestricted to survivors or dependents of people who died, are missing or were disabled in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks
  • CheckmarkMust study full-time
  • CheckmarkRestricted to residents of Illinois
  • CheckmarkRestricted to students studying in Illinois
  • Checkmark Must be in or a veteran of any U.S. Armed Service Checkmark Must be a dependent of the service(s) specified above
