Description

Madeline Pickett (Halbert) Cogswell Nursing Scholarship is awarded to two students who are accepted or enrolled in an accredited school of nursing. Applicants must be a DAR member, a descendant of a DAR member, or eligible for membership in DAR. The cited DAR memberÔÇÖs name and national membership number must appear included in the application. A letter of acceptance into the nursing program or the transcript noting the applicant is enrolled in the nursing program must be included with the application. An applicant must attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States. Proof of US citizenship is required. At least two, but not more than four recommendations and a one-page resume must also be submitted.
