The Charles W. Tadlock Scholarship is designated for students who are?ácertified candidates for ordination as an Elder, have successfully completed their first year of seminary and are pursuing a master of divinity degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to?áMissouri Annual Conference candidates, but the scholarship is open to all. Scholarship recipients should be enrolled full-time and pursuing a degree at an accredited institution; however, committees may consider part-time applicants under extenuating circumstances.?áStudents who are United States citizens or permanent residents, or who are?áDeferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) persons shall follow the?ádomestic applicant minimum scholarship requirements. Students who are members from one of the United Methodist Central Conferences, who are citizens from a country other than the United States and are enrolled in a United Methodist institution within the United States, shall follow the?áInternational Applicant Minimum Scholarship Requirements. Each applicant may apply?áonce per year for a scholarship from GBHEM. Renewals must re-apply each year. A student may receive GBHEM scholarships for up to seven award years maximum. Renewal applicants will not be considered for an eighth academic year for a GBHEM scholarship.
