Siemens Clinical Advancement Scholarship

Description

The Siemens Clinical Advancement Scholarship assists medical imaging professionals seeking to enhance their clinical practice skills and provide excellent patient care. Four scholarships will be awarded to professionals pursuing a specialty certification. To be eligible, applicants should be a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident. You should have applied to or currently attend an accredited degree or certificate program. Applicants should finish your certificate or degree program after September 1 of the year in which scholarship applications are due. Your college, university or medical institution must be accredited in the United States. Professional-level applicants are students who have already attained certification from the ARRT or other equivalent certifying organization or have completed an entry-level program and are transitioning directly into radiation therapy, sonography, magnetic resonance or nuclear medicine. Funds may be used as long as you are continuously enrolled in your program of study. You may be awarded only one scholarship per year. If you qualify for more than one scholarship, you will receive the award with the highest dollar amount. Previous recipients are eligible to apply however, applicants are only eligible to win a specific scholarship twice. ASRT Foundation Board of Trustees, ASRT Board of Directors, ASRT staff and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply. All applications and related materials must be completed online through AcademicWorks. The following information and documents are needed for online application: ASRT membership status; education; employment; volunteer service activities; resume or CV; and financial data (all applicants also will be required to report their adjusted gross income, number of household members and children in college, cost of attendance of current educational program and non-repayable educational assistance. Applicants who are currently enrolled in school will need to have their program director verify their GPA.
