Description

The program makes graduate programs available to students of the West at up to 150 percent of the institution's resident tuition rate. Residents of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, the Northern Mariana Islands, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming are eligible. Applicants apply to the participating institution. For information visit http://www.wiche.edu/wrgp. Departments can limit the number of awards available, so apply early. Currently more than 900 programs are available at the master's, doctoral, and graduate certificate level; some programs are offered online. Contact the graduate school at the university where you want to enroll. Most require applicants to complete a WRGP application to be considered.
