  • The exam consists of 10 competencies:
    1. Algebra (13%)

    5. Coordinate Geometry (6%)
    6. Trigonometry (7%)
    7. Statistics and Probability (10%)

  • The FTCE Mathematics 6-12 exam is a computer-based test comprising 75 multiple-choice questions. You will have 2 ½ hours to complete the exam.
  • The FTCE Mathematics 6-12 exam is on a scaled score in which test takers must earn at least 200 to pass.
  • The pass rate of the FTCE Mathematics 6-12 exam is 41 percent, according to the FTCE 2020 Annual Administration and Technical Report.
  • You may not bring your own calculator. However, a Texas Instruments TI-30X IIS scientific calculator will be provided to you at the testing site.
