  • High school students who understand the concepts of Art History and want to earn college credit can take AP Art History in either their high school or a participating school. AP courses are taken instead of the standard subject course, and students take the AP exam at the end of the course. However, anyone seeking college credit can take AP exams. This is a great option for some introductory college-level courses.
  • AP Exams test you on the equivalent of an entire college semester’s curriculum in 2 – 3 hours. It is highly recommended first to take an AP class and review content several weeks before the exam. AP classes typically finish covering new content at least a week before the exam, giving you time to review what you have learned. Peterson’s AP Art History prep prepares you for the questions you can expect on the exam with two online practice tests and flashcards to test your knowledge of key terms.
  • Peterson’s provides all the resources you need, including an AP Art History study guide, two practice tests, interactive study materials, art images, and video instruction to help elevate your AP Art History study.
  • Peterson’s offers subscribers two full-length AP Art History practice tests. You can also access our AP Art History Study Guide, which provides a review of concepts presented on the exam and tips for preparing for it.
  • The AP Art History exam can be administered at schools that offer the AP Art History class. Talk to your teacher or contact the AP coordinator at your school. The College Board website explains fee reduction options if you have a significant financial need.
