Students have a safe, suburban campus environment for learning and for enjoying the many extra-curricular activities, clubs, and sports events. Garden City is a friendly town of 20,000 residents.
Convenient to Long Island's famous beaches and parks, the campus is just a 40-minute train ride from the world-class attractions of the most exciting international city in the world. Students can drive into Manhattan on the Long Island Expressway or ride the Long Island Railroad, a clean and efficient commuter train with a convenient station near campus.
Besides the Garden City campus, Adelphi University has three other campuses in the New York Metropolitan Area. The Hauppauge Center Campus is also on Long Island. The Adelphi Manhattan Center Campus is located in the historic SoHo neighborhood. The Hudson Valley Center Campus is situated north of New York City in Poughkeepsie, New York.
