Location
The Art Institute of York--Pennsylvania is located in York, a suburban area in south-central Pennsylvania. Surrounded by sprawling hills and Amish farmlands, York offers visitors an abundance of shopping areas and museums and three centuries of American history, including battlefields from the Revolutionary and Civil wars. York is a 30-minute drive from Hershey and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; approximately a 90-minute drive from Philadelphia; and a 1-hour drive from Baltimore, Maryland.
Programs of Study and Degrees
No matter which course of study a student may choose, the professionals at The Art Institute of York--Pennsylvania will guide, support, and help each student as their talents evolve on their journey of personal and professional transformation. Students studying design learn to fine-tune their visual thinking and problem-solving skills, as they create everything from logos to TV ads. Programs in the area of media arts focus on utilizing technology to deliver information and entertainment, while students studying fashion learn to market and merchandise clothing.
Bachelor's degree programs are offered in fashion and retail management, graphic design, interior design, media arts and animation, and Web design and interactive media.
Associate degrees are offered in graphic design and kitchen and bath design.

Admission Requirements
The Art Institute of York--Pennsylvania encourages interested students to apply early. To apply, students must possess a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate and a minimum SAT score of 800 (at least 400 math and 400 verbal) or a minimum ACT score of 16. A portfolio review may be required. There is a $50 application fee.
