Graduate degree programs at Johnson & Wales University offer students the chance to advance in their areas of interest.

New for 2012 One Year MBA Program

This program is designed to be an intensive one year delivery that will allow a student to complete studies in 12 months beginning in June. Classes, which meet during the day, full-time, make up a curriculum developed and updated in collaboration with successful industry leaders. Students will study business theories, concepts and practices, and learn to critically analyze and apply knowledge to challenges that arise in industries. They will have opportunities to build foundations in leadership and management designed to give them the competitive edge they need in today's business world.

The cohort model will be used with only one admission during the year. The program is designed for students with minimal work experience and the desire to pursue MBA degrees. The primary market for this program will be graduates with a business or hospitality academic background. An additional market includes working professionals wanting to complete their MBAs in one year. The program will feature an action research project or an embedded internship as part of the requirements. This will afford the student the opportunity to gain important work setting experience.

This program will allow IT professionals to develop both their professional skills (concentration courses) and management skills while learning to think strategically in a complex, cost competitive knowledge-based environment.
