Georgetown's biomedical graduate programs cover a wide spectrum of fields - from the basic and clinical sciences, to emerging infectious diseases, to science policy, to critical evaluation of complementary and alternative medicine. Georgetown University offers programs leading to degrees in Master's of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) along with dual degree programs, which allow students the opportunity to earn both MD and MS degrees in specific programs. The university also offers 4 biomedical graduate-level certificate programs.

Admissions
Entrance requirements for Georgetown University are as follows:
- For master's degree programs the requirements include online applications, statements of purpose, official transcripts, letters of recommendation, MCAT/GRE scores (required for some programs), and TOEFL/IELTS scores (non-native English speakers only)
- For doctoral degree programs, the requirements include online applications, statements of purpose, resumes/CVs, official transcripts, letters of recommendation, GRE scores, and TOEFL/IELTS scores (non-native English speakers only)
Application deadlines for master's degree programs are June 1st for fall admissions and November 1st for spring admissions.
For doctoral programs, the summer admissions deadline is December 1st.
Application fees are around $80.
Financial Aid
For master's degree programs, in 2010-11, 52 students received partial tuition scholarships; Federal Work Study aid and federal and private loans are also available.
For doctoral degree programs, students are guaranteed full funding, which includes tuition, mandatory fees, and stipends for the first 5 years of their studies (2 years for pre-thesis, 3 years for thesis programs).
