Focus of faculty research: Contributions of exercise, diet quality and supplementation on body composition, colon cancer and obesity prevention looking at mechanisms of microbiome-host inflammation and diet-microbiome interactions, insulin resistance in pathogenesis of tumor-induced cachexia, effects of parental loss and oxytocin levels on attachment styles, dietary and nutritional impacts of botanical supplements
