Master's Degree Requirements	Bachelor's degree from an accredited US university or equivalent, minimum 3.3 undergraduate GPA, 2 methods courses beyond introductory statistics, 2 courses in calculus-based statistical theory, differential calculus, integral calculus, multivariate calculus, a course in linear algebra. B- or higher in each course, math minor recommended.

Focus of faculty research:	Predicting ambulatory care sensitive emergency department admissions, dependent point processes with applications in public policy and traffic engineering, actuarial methods in health applications of statistical mechanics to multiple agent problems, spatial factor analysis models for combining climate model output and spatial point patterns, sports and human performance
