Master of Business Administration Program

California State University Channel Islands offers an ACBSP-accredited MBA program. The accelerated program is tailored for working professionals that combines the highest level of academic rigor with real-world experience and is aimed to develop business leaders with the capacity to work effectively in an increasingly multicultural and global environment. The program features integrated modules that cut across functional disciplines and is taught by an outstanding group of faculty members who reflect a blend of scholarship and practical business experience. Key elements include small classes, a focus on international business and entrepreneurial innovation, short-term study abroad option, and real-world orientation. 

Designed for working professionals, classes are offered during evenings or weekends based on schedule availability.

M.S. Biotechnology and MBA Dual Degree Program

California State University Channel Islands offers a dual degree program which combines a Master of Science in Biotechnology and an MBA. There are only four of these unique programs nationwide. The program prepares students for leadership positions in the biotechnology industry.  Students will be ready to make immediate contributions to scientific research, discovery, development, and management. Students have possible leadership career opportunities in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and biomedical device-based companies and organizations. 

Designed for working professionals, classes are offered during evenings or weekends based on schedule availability. The degree is open to both domestic and international students.

Master of Science in Biotechnology & Bioinformatics Program

California State University Channel Islands Master of Science in Biotechnology & Bioinformatics provides students practical, advanced training in the sciences. The program includes courses from scientific fields such as molecular and cellular biology, genomics and proteomics, immunology, and stem cell sciences along with industry relevant content: project management, biotech law, regulatory affairs, quality control and clinical trials.

California State University Channel Islands Master of Science in Computer Science provides students education in technology theory and practical application. The program prepares students for careers in high-tech, computer and internet-driven industries and businesses. The faculty are interdisciplinary, dynamic and innovative professionals trained in latest technologies cloud computing, algorithms, robotics, data analysis, cyber security, and artificial intelligence. Students are given a strong background in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as practical skills necessary to develop industrial-grade systems as well as to conduct independent applied and theoretical research.

Master of Science in Mathematics Program

California State University Channel Islands Master of Science in Mathematics degree is designed to address a global demand for people with advanced mathematical, and computational skills throughout industry, high-tech, and educational systems. The program, in collaboration with Computer Science, stresses interdisciplinary applications such as actuarial sciences, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, cryptography, image recognition, mathematics education, and security. In addition, the program also offers a wide variety of courses in statistics, stochastic analysis, combinatorics and algebra taught by faculty with expertise in those fields.
