Focus of faculty research:	The intersections of christian theology and neoclassical economic theory; using animal models to examine the behavioral and neurobiological responses to stress, drugs of abuse, and the interaction between the two; nonunique factorization in commutative rings and monoids; chemical biology and food chemistry; the relevance of epistemic symmetry in faith-based beliefs
