High Demand for Cybersecurity Experts

With cybercrime on the rise, the demand is high for skilled analysts with cutting-edge knowledge of how to detect, prevent, and recover from a cyberattack.

Using methods in computing and informational science, engineering, and social science, students in Fordham's M.S. in Cybersecurity program will learn how to identify solutions to sophisticated cyberthreats while mastering legal, ethical, and policy issues in the field. Designed for both working professionals and full-time students, this 30-credit program offers a combination of weekend, evening, online, and hybrid courses. Small classes are taught by leading experts in academia and industry.

Designated Center of Excellence

Fordham and the M.S. in Cybersecurity program have recently been designated by the U.S. National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE), a distinction that is attractive to current and potential employers. Students will also benefit from events and competitions offered by the Fordham Center for Cybersecurity, an interdisciplinary hub for cybersecurity education, research, and training.

Lincoln Center in Manhattan

Courses are offered at Fordham's Lincoln Center campus in Manhattan. The program can be completed in 12 months. Students are admitted on a rolling basis. Bridge courses are available for students who lack a strong background in an essential area.
